Important Update – 20th SPHERIC World Conference

The 20th SPHERIC World Conference, originally scheduled for June 8–11, 2026 in San Francisco, USA, will now take place on February 1–4, 2027 in Rome, Italy.
This change aims to maintain broad participation from SPHERIC members and SPH practitioners worldwide, and to ensure a vibrant and scientifically stimulating event focused on the latest advances in Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics and related methods.
The conference will be co-organized by the Italian Institute of Marine Engineering (CNR–INM), Fifty2 Technology, and Sapienza University of Rome. The main venue will be the Engineering Faculty of San Pietro in Vincoli, located in the heart of Rome.
Abstract Submission
The deadline for abstract submission is August 1, 2026.
We are confident that the new location will provide an excellent opportunity for scientific exchange and collaboration. The conference format will remain unchanged, and the primary objective of the event remains fostering high-quality discussions, presenting cutting-edge research developments, and strengthening collaboration within the international SPH community.
